We are excited to announce in the next few weeks, the City of Port Hueneme will be replacing its current permitting and business license software with the new OpenGov software system.

What this means for you - The advantages of the new system will be to: allow the public to apply for a variety of Planning, Building and Public Works permits, as well as business licenses, on-line; pay for the permits on-line; and check the status of their applications without the need to come into City Hall.  The new system will also allow City staff to more seamlessly process these applications, resulting in faster processing times.

If you do not already have an account, we encourage you to set up an account with opengov.com, to be able to use the new program when it comes on-line.  City staff will be available to assist you with any issues in submitting or checking your application.
