Human Resources
Human Resources and Risk Management operate under the direction of the Deputy City Manager in providing professional leadership and excellent customer service for all departments. The Human Resources division oversees all employee recruitment and selection, with the goal of attracting the most highly qualified and talented workforce possible. The office also is responsible for administering employee classification, compensation and benefits, facilitating employee and labor relations, offering required and developmental training and providing a safe, productive work site.
Risk Management
The division is responsible for the activities of Risk Management, including risk identification and evaluation, insurance or self-insurance selection, and claims analysis; providing leadership and coordination to the Workers Compensation program, public liability, occupational and industrial safety and related programs and activities.
