SCORE is a nonprofit association that provides face-to-face counseling with retired and active owners/mangers to help small businesses.

Women's Economic Ventures offers self employment training, advanced business consulting/training and startup/expansion loans. 

Ventura County Community College District Business Resource Center provides workforce consultation and customized training for employers in collaboration with the region's three community colleges (Mooorpark, Oxnard, and Ventura).

Governor's Office of Economic Development can assign a specialist to help guide you through starting or expanding a business or provide you with information regarding specific State business policies or procedures.

California Small Business Development Center (LA Regional Network) offers a variety of programs and support services to help navigate the issues you face with initial applications and obtaining resources for business including loans, loan guarantees, contracts, counseling, advocacy, training, procurement opportunities, and other forms of assistance to small businesses.

Port Hueneme Chamber of Commerce provides broad support to its members and the local business community. Membership is open to individuals, nonprofit organizations, large and small businesses, merchants, and home-occupations. 

Ventura County "Grow Your Business -Live Your Life" is a marketing and outreach campaign to communicate Ventura County's competitive strengths and encourages the retention and growth of the County's industrial and employment base.
