The Wastewater Division operates and maintains the City's 11 wastewater pump stations and approximately 45 miles of underground wastewater collection system piping. Under contract, the Wastewater Division also provides the Naval Base Ventura County (NBVC) Pt. Hueneme and Pt. Mugu sites with wastewater system operations and maintenance services, which include capital upgrades and repairs. The primary function of the Wastewater Division is to protect the health and safety of the public, as well as to protect the environment.
