Graffiti Abatement

The City of Port Hueneme responds as soon as possible to a report of graffiti. Your help can improve our response.

To report graffiti on PUBLIC PROPERTY and along the PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY, either call the Facilities Maintenance Division at 986-6592 or click here for an on-line form to report the graffiti and have it removed by the City.

To report graffiti on PRIVATE PROPERTY, please contact Code Compliance at 986-6513 or click here for an on-line form. If the graffiti is within an area that has a homeowner's association, the graffiti should be reported to them or to the property management company first.

GRAFFITI REMOVAL KIT INFORMATION

The City of Port Hueneme is now providing graffiti removal kits to City residents over the age of 18. The kits were generously funded by the Hueneme Beautiful organization and are available at City Hall Monday through Friday during normal business hours free of charge.

Each kit contains a supply of liquid surface graffiti remover, graffiti safe wipes, paint brush, spray bottle, safety gloves and glasses, clean up towel and instructions including material safety data sheets.

The kit is designed to remove moderate amounts of graffiti from non-porous surfaces such as signs, glass, poles and various other painted surfaces.

Please read the directions for the safe use and storage of the products in the kit. If you need more product, please come City Hall and you can get a refill of the remover and wipes.
