Port Hueneme – the jewel of the California coast is a beautiful beach community located between Malibu and Santa Barbara. Our residents enjoy a rich, cultural heritage balanced with a high quality of life. They serve as important reminders of our legacy as the Chumash “resting place” and our current efforts to maintain and enhance our community’s economic vitality and aesthetic appeal.

Our community boasts the 50-acre Hueneme Beach Park- complete with walking promenade, fishing pier and lighthouse; a mid-city greenbelt in Bubbling Springs Park; and the largest commercial deep-water harbor between Los Angeles and San Francisco.


Port Hueneme is the proud home of the Pacific Seabees – Naval Construction Battalion Center and home of the largest Ventura County employer in the U.S. Navy-Naval Base Ventura County. Our community diversity is second to none.
