Build It Smart!

Assisted by a grant from the Southern California Association of Gorvernments, the Ventura County Planning Department has joined hands with local groups, businesses and individuals to develop the Build it Smart website. This site is a tool to help residents throughout the county make sense of the multitude of new-and not-so-new-strategies, techniques, building materials, and other products that make building projects and land use decisions smarter and more ecologically responsible.

California Contractors State License Board

Regulates the construction industry through policies that promote the health, safety and general welfare of the public in matters relating to construction.

Ventura County Fire Department

This fire department is an all-risk, full-service fire department.  It is their mission to communicate accurate emergency and non-emergency information to their corresponding communities and members of the fire service in an efficient and timely manner.
