Lifeguards on Duty all Summer through Labor Day

Our awesome Port Hueneme Lifeguards are on duty every day from 11 am to 5 pm now through Labor Day to help keep Hueneme Beach safe for visitors.

Lifeguards don't just pull people out of the water; a big part of lifeguarding is educating beachgoers about surf conditions before they even get in.

Do you know what a yellow flag on a lifeguard tower means? What about a white flag with a black circle? Click on the photo to check out the Lifeguard Program page on the City's website to test your knowledge.
