Welcome New City Businesses

Coming soon to Mandalay Marketplace shopping center on Channel Islands Boulevard, T-Mobile,  9 Round Boxing, and Menchie’s Frozen Yogurt. Also, CVS Pharmacy will be opening located in former Mary's Market building on Ventura Road. It will include a drive-through for prescription pick-up.

Beach Restrooms

Public Works staff have been making improvements to the Hueneme Beach restrooms including painting, deep cleaning, resurfacing, and adding additional safety measures. The restrooms will  be closed from dusk until dawn once all work has been completed.

Drought Update & Watering

On Friday April 7, 2017, Governor Jerry Brown declared an end to the drought that brought California some of the driest periods in recorded history. However, state officials will continue to clamp down on wasteful water users and impose a long-term conservation program. View drought map.

What does that mean for Port Hueneme residents? On Monday, May 15, 2017 the Port Hueneme City Council downgraded from Level 2 to Level 1 Water Supply Shortage pursuant to Ordinance No. 698. In light of the current conditions here in Ventura County,  it is appropriate at this time for the City Council to declare a lower level water supply shortage and continue conservation efforts by residents and businesses within the City of Port Hueneme service area.
